This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and share personal information when you visit or buy from the Vanquish Seed online store (the “Store”). The Store is operated by RALU ADVERTISING LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). Our contact details are at the end of this page.

The Store is built on Shopify. “Personal information” means information that identifies you or could reasonably be linked to you.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Contact details: your name, email address, phone number, shipping address, and billing address.
Order details: the products you buy, prices paid, order number, and delivery instructions.
Messages: what you write to us through the contact form or by email, and any photos you attach.
Email sign-up: your email address, if you sign up for our emails.

Your card details go straight to our payment processors through Shopify’s encrypted checkout. We see whether the payment went through, not your full card number.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Store, Shopify and the tools we use record information about your device and your visit: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages viewed, links clicked, the site that sent you to the Store, and the date and time of each visit. Your approximate location can be inferred from your IP address. Cookies and similar technologies collect this information, as described below.

Information from other sources

We may receive information about you from Shopify, from our payment processors (for example, whether a payment went through and fraud-screening signals), and from shipping carriers (delivery status).

How we use your information

To process and deliver your orders, and to send order emails, such as your order confirmation.
To answer your messages and handle refund requests under our money-back guarantee.
To protect against fraud, unauthorized payments, and misuse of the Store.
To keep the Store running and secure, and to fix errors.
To understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the Store.
To send you our emails, if you sign up.
To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and to enforce our terms.

How we share your information

We share personal information only as described here.

Shopify, which hosts the Store, runs the checkout, and sends order emails for us. Shopify describes its own use of data at shopify.com/legal/privacy.
Payment processors, which handle your payment through Shopify’s checkout.
Shipping carriers, which deliver your order.
Companies that provide email or analytics services to us.
Our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, when they need it to advise us.
Public authorities, when the law requires it, or when we need to enforce our legal rights.
A buyer or successor, if our business or the Store is sold, merged, or transferred. The new owner would have to use your information as this policy describes.

Our service providers may use your information only to provide their services to us, except where their own privacy policy applies, as with Shopify and some payment processors.

Selling and sharing

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

We do not run advertising pixels of our own on the Store. Shopify, the platform that runs the Store, may combine information about your visits and orders with other Shopify data to improve its services and personalize ads (Shopify Network Intelligence), as its own privacy policy describes. Some state laws treat this as sharing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page, or by emailing us.

Cookies

Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. The Store uses:

Necessary cookies, which run your cart and checkout and keep the Store secure. They are always on.
Analytics cookies, which measure visits. They are optional, and set only if you allow them.
Marketing cookies, which Shopify may use to measure and personalize ads. They are optional, and set only if you allow them.

The cookie banner asks for your choice. Select Manage preferences in the banner to choose which optional cookies to allow. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, the cart and checkout may not work.

The Store does not respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, since there is no common standard for them.

Your US state privacy rights

Residents of several states, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Virginia, have rights over their personal information under state law. Depending on the law that applies to you, you can ask us to:

tell you what personal information we hold about you, where it came from, why we use it, and who we share it with;
give you a list of the specific companies we disclosed it to, where your state’s law gives this right;
give you a copy of it in a portable format;
correct it if it is inaccurate;
delete it, except what the law requires us to keep, such as order records for tax purposes;
stop selling or sharing it, and stop using it for targeted advertising.

To make a request, email us at support@getvanquishseed.com or use the contact form, and say that it is a privacy request. We confirm that we received your request within 10 business days.

Before we act on a request to know, copy, correct, or delete your information, we confirm your identity by matching the email address and order number you give us with our records. A request to opt out of selling or sharing needs no identity check.

You can use an authorized agent. We will ask for proof that you gave the agent permission, and we may ask you to confirm your identity with us directly.

We respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we tell you why, and we respond within 90 days in total.

If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision. We answer your appeal within the time your state’s law sets. If we deny the appeal, you can contact your state attorney general.

Using these rights never changes the price you pay, the goods you can buy, or the service you get.

California residents: we collect these categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email address, and IP address), customer records (such as postal address and phone number), commercial information (such as products bought), internet activity (such as pages viewed), and approximate location. Sensitive personal information: none. We collect them from the sources, and use them for the purposes, described above. We disclose them to the service providers and the other companies listed above, including Shopify and payment processors that use data under their own privacy policies.

Children

The Store is for adults. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

How long we keep information

We keep each kind of information for as long as we need it, by these rules:

Order records: for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
Messages and refund requests: for as long as we need them to handle your request and any follow-up.
Email list: until you unsubscribe.
Payment status and fraud-screening information: for as long as we need it to handle payments, refunds, and disputes, and for as long as the law requires.
Device and visit information collected automatically: for as long as we need it to run, secure, and measure the Store.
Information from Shopify and shipping carriers: for as long as we need it to fill your order and handle any follow-up.
Cookies: for the time each cookie is set to last, shown in your browser settings.

Security

We take reasonable steps to keep personal information secure. Payments go through Shopify’s encrypted checkout, and the Store’s pages are served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Where information is processed

The Store serves customers in the United States. Shopify and our other service providers may store and process information in the United States and in other countries.

Our emails

We send our emails only to people who sign up for them. Each one has an unsubscribe link. Order emails, such as your order confirmation, are part of your order.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change affects how we use information we already hold, we tell you by email or with a notice on the Store before it takes effect.
